For guided phone calls: If the call never happens, we refund you in full. Up to three attempts, or seven days after the last one, and no form to fill in. Once the call has happened, the proof is your protection — nothing prints until you approve it.
What kind of story can we make?
A children’s story with a real memory at its heart. Your recording might inspire two foxes learning to share, a make-believe adventure about courage, or a playful tale with familiar people. You can leave the plot and characters to us, then edit the words and names in your proof.
How does the AI companion work?
For a phone story, our AI interviewer calls your storyteller for a relaxed, thirty-to-forty-five-minute conversation. For a recording, you tell the story yourself, sit with them and press record, or send a voice memo you already have. In either case, AI helps write and illustrate the book, and you review every page before anything is printed.
Do I get to change the story and pictures?
Wording changes are free, any time. Five picture swaps come with every book — more come in bundles. No one picture can be swapped more than three times. Nothing prints until you approve.
How long does it take?
About a week from the call to your proof. Digital files and narrated audio are ready after approval, then your hardcover is printed and posted. We're new, and we won't guess a delivery date we can't stand behind. The carrier's tracking is the only honest answer to when it gets there.
Can I record it myself instead?
Yes. Tell your own story, sit down and record together, or upload an existing voice memo. Gentle prompts help you get started, and you can listen back before sending it. Same proof, same book.
What if they miss the call or don’t want to take part?
If the call never happens, we refund you in full. Up to three attempts, or seven days after the last one, and no form to fill in. We explain that the caller is an AI before recording, and your storyteller can decline. Once the call has happened, the proof is your protection — nothing prints until you approve it.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once for one story. Both editions include the digital book, downloadable PDF, narration, and the recording you send or make. The hardcover edition also includes a printed book and US shipping. Applicable tax is added at checkout.
